3 Emme of Magrino Ermes & C. Sas
The history of 3 EMME begins in 1955, when the family Magrino members opened their first artisan workshop, literally built with their hands, brick after brick, in their little free time. A way for starting a task which today seems incredible, but which instead in those years was the only way to express the extraordinary passion for their craft, and the same formidable wish of growth of the chair artisans of Manzano area.
With this catalogue we meant to narrate a very long route, made of engagement and sacrifices, but also satisfaction and succes.
We are going to narrate through a series of pictures still able to surprise, and at times to touch, a history which is not much known yet: that of the Chair Industrial District. A succession started at the end of last century, when local men, women and even children decided, fortified only of their will, creativity and fatigue, to follow a route which brought the chair of Friuli to reach the absolute top of the world-wide market. A past which 3 EMME is proud of belonging to, towards a future which every day it is doing its best to continue to.
Today our reality is a modern one, made strong by the most updated technologies and ready to face the always new challanges imposed by the market. From the artisan plane of many years ago, to the thousands of seatings monthly produced in our factory, many things have changed. And yet love for our work, for our remarkable tradition, and mainly for the quality of our product, always remains the same as usual.
